Then anything else you get to is absolutely the cherry on top. Christmas at Disney World is pretty busy which means that lines will also be busier than the rest of the year and reservations book up more quickly.

Disney World At Christmas. The official Christmas season at Disney World will run from November 6 through December 30. The Grand Floridians lifesize gingerbread house is on any Disney holiday must-do list and Wilderness Lodge must never be missed during the Christmas season. Dont miss the free in-park entertainment.

While this starts on the same date as usual it ends a little bit earlier than normal. The Walt Disney World Holiday Services team provides décor for 780 locations within 41 different properties including Disney theme parks resorts Disney Springs and recreation and shopping areas. Christmas decorations at Disney World resort hotels are as iconic as the decorations in the parks.

There are certain other events that start at later dates but more on that below. From the moment the monorail goes through The Contemporary and pulls up toward the station you get amazing views of Main Street USA looking like a million bucks and Cinderellas Castle all decked out in its Christmas best. Walt Disney World Resorts put together a unique Christmas display and some are truly exceptional like the life sized Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian or giant chocolate carousel at Beach.

However they make up for it with their popular Festival of the Holidays and Candle Light Processional. 41 cast members work year-round to make the holiday transformation a reality with an additional 119 cast members added during the installation period. EPCOT is the last park to receive its Disney World Christmas decorations makeover.

I loved the gorgeous decor especially at the Magic Kingdom and World Showcase in Epcot. Unfortunately gingerbread displays wont be appearing at Disney resorts in 2020. Magic Kingdom is where the splendor of Disney World at Christmas really shines.

EPCOT officially starts to celebrate the holiday season towards the last few days of November.
